Stories On Stories at This Is Us House

Stories On Stories is presented as part of A Third Space’s The Long Story Project - a space for sound-based art practices and oral storytelling. The stories in this first edition deal with a variety of subjects, from the fickle memories of an old family house to a supernatural encounter.

This edition is curated by Nelson C.J and features original stories and sound projects by Yagazie Emezi, Jill Achineku and Mo Isu with support from This Is Us House and Selar. This evening will open with three original sound projects, including "Red Eyed Dove," Written and narrated by Yagazie Emezi, “Was I hypnotised?” Produced by Mo Isu and “She Went Crazy, and Then She Died," Produced and narrated by Jill Achineku.

The evening will close out with a conversation with sound artist and producer Mo Isu on sound as a site for honest storytelling. Come for the stories, stay for the meaning.
